Outlook.com? Still shoddy CSS support

Campaign Monitor reported in January that Outlook.com has dropped CSS support for “margins” and “floats”. Really? Now I can understand the lack of support for floats, but margins? Jez that’s basic.
I originally had high hopes for Outlook.com, especially since it is a browser-based service, that it would start supporting basic CSS properties. But alas, no. Do the folks at Outllook just want email to stay in the stone age? Apparently so.
Here is the article on Campaign Monitor’s blog.
