What’s the best use of Social Media for you?

The one that works! With a plethora of social media platforms available to businesses, organizations and individuals, it’s sometimes hard to know which ones will move your business agenda forward.

When deciding which platform to invest your time in, consider these 2 questions about your target audience:

  1. What’s their age group, tech savyness, geographic location? (HINT: the best answer isn’t “all of them”.)
  2. What social media platforms do they use? Facebook, MySpace, Yelp, Twitter? What else? (HINT: the best answer isn’t “all of them”.)

Match the answers to these 2 questions to your Social Media objectives, and you’re off to a good start.
